Home Depot paints: inconsistent.
Home Depot service: same as above.
Home Depot web site: very hard to use.
OK I do like the Home Depot hours, locations and prices. And if you need a garden hose or screws on a Sunday. THD is the place for me.
I got wondering what they are carrying for green flooring. I am not sure why. I just got to thinking. So I went on their web site. I found nothing. So I called. Just got off the phone with a very nice gentleman in the flooring department. He was polite and knowlegeable about his department. I was curious as to whether they had any green flooring solutions. You know. Cork, linoleum, recycled carpet. Figured I could save some time and some gas with a phone call as opposed to driving over there.
The very nice man told me they only carried underlayment for hard wood floors but were out of it.
Nothing other than that. No cork. (and they cannot order it) No recycled tile. Nothing.
Home Depot has a web site devoted to their green products. But it stinks, too. I am not impressed with selling energy star appliances and Low VOC paints. Everyone does. But no green flooring? Step up to the plate Home Depot. You are a major player in the market and the it's time to get with it!!!
