One of the hardest things to do as a decorator (for me anyway) is to decorate my own home. Here's what my place looked like the day of the close. It's been 3 weeks — the first week I was out of town, so that doesn't count. Every day I wake up happy that I bought this place. It's clean and bright and fresh and although not HUGE in square footage, its open and airy feeling. I'm all Goldilocks on it. It's just right.

PS While I sell this brand of chandelier all the time, I hate this one in my house. It's on the list to be replaced.
The bathroom is fine. I do need some towel bars and other accessories and also maybe a medicine cabinet. Will see how I do without.
View from the LR through the kitchen. The fire place works. The art I just put up there to keep it out of the way of the movers. The B & W print is a litho done of me and my cousin Elysa when we were kids. The other art my grandma did.
Finally, here's the sun room which I plan to use as a yoga space.
