Bang for the buck

Here’s a bathroom dilemma:

You are renovating a kids’ bathroom. You want it to be bright and appealing. You want it to appeal to both genders, stand the test of time, and not spend a fortune.

What to do?
Stick to ceramic or porcelain tile, the most affordable. Pick one item as a decorative element and keep the design simple, yet fun.
Bang_for_buck

Here we ran one row of a bright, glass decorative liner. The counter was bright too and the wall paint color is happy but not overwhelming (It’s Benajmin Moore Mellow Yellow, a great yellow for kids).

Solved a similar dilemma? Send in your ideas!
